PSM Element: Regulations, Codes and Standards

One of the steps in Process Safety Management (PSM) implementation is to complete a qualitative gap analysis against the PSM standard (in this case, the CSA Z767 standard). To perform this gap analysis, PSM Self-Assessment Worksheets have been developed as part of the current work. These documents are for the regulations, codes and standards element.

The regulations, codes and standards element refers to the management system for the control of pertinent regulations, standards and codes to ensure relevant documentation is up to date, communicated with relevant stakeholders and consistently used throughout the organization.

The Self-Assessment and Action Plan Worksheet and the resources and industry best practices below are intended to help integrate the investigation element into your workplace.
