Process Safety Management: Management of Change

One of the initial steps in process safety management (PSM) implementation is to complete a qualitative gap analysis against the PSM standard (in this case, the CSA Z767 standard). To perform this gap analysis, PSM self-assessment worksheets have been developed as part of the current work. These documents are for the management of change (MOC) element.

MOC is the management of risks associated with changes to design, equipment, procedures, personnel, and the organization, and includes temporary and permanent changes.

The fact sheet to the left summarizes the MOC element of PSM and the self-assessment and action plan worksheet on the right is intended to help integrate the MOC element into your workplace.
