The Wood Pellet Association of Canada (WPAC) attended the annual World Sustainable Energy Days 2023 event in Austria. The conference highlighted the critical role of the energy transition in securing our clean energy future and the progressive policies, technologies, and markets that will be required to get society there.

Today, wood pellets sourced from responsible producers in well-regulated countries like Canada are unquestionably sustainable and part of the solution. Good public policy, incentives to support domestic needs, and responsible use of the forest resource will all be required to meet this demand.
