Taiwan is currently facing the challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and decarbonizing coal. Existing coal-fired facilities are actively seeking low-carbon emission alternative fuels to replace industrial coal and other fossil fuels.

WPAC will be speaking at the Taiwan Solid Biofuels Conference on March 14, 2024 in Taipei City, on the supply chain, safety, and quality of Canadian wood pellets. Other topics at the Conference include current usage and future prospects of biomass to provide authorities and industries with reference for planning low-carbon transformation.
