WPAC’s Safety Committee hosted the Wood Pellet and Bioenergy Safety Summit with the BC Forest Safety Council (BCFSC), WorkSafeBC and media partner Canadian Biomass on November 5, 2024. Twenty wood pellet producers, operators and regulators across Canada met in Prince George, BC, to discuss current safety initiatives and trends creating a safer foundation for our industry. We gratefully acknowledge WorkSafeBC for its generous funding of this program.
